What is this self-care thing behavioral health talks about? Self-care is providing adequate attention to your own psychological, physical and emotional well-being. Self-care also encompasses all the things you need to do to remain healthy, reduce stress, and feel as mentally well as possible. This can look very different based on your own interests, needs, and time.
