– Event at One Safe Place in San Marcos from Noon to 4 p.m. –
San Marcos, Calif. (May 10, 2024) – Neighborhood Healthcare, a regional Federally Qualified Health Center providing a wide range of medical, dental, and behavioral health services, and One Safe Place will hold a Women’s Health Fair next Tuesday. The Women’s Health Fair, which will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at 1050 Los Vallecitos Blvd. in San Marcos, will include free haircuts, food distribution, medical insurance enrollment services, wellness services, and educational resources.
“As part of our ‘Better Together’ mantra, we collaborate with government agencies and other non-profit organizations to help families eliminate barriers to achieving their best life, whether financial, social, or otherwise. These efforts have significantly improved access to women’s health resources for the communities in which Neighborhood Healthcare proudly serves,” said Edgar Bulloch, MD, the Assistant Chief Medical Officer for Neighborhood Healthcare. “We believe a healthy community is a prosperous one where everyone benefits. This event directly supports that mission.’
More than 200 people will participate in this women’s health fair, which is sponsored by Neighborhood Healthcare and One Safe Place project. The media and public are invited to attend.
