Neighborhood Healthcare, a regional Federally Qualified Health Center providing a wide range of services, today announced that it received a grant of $10,000 from Hunter Industries for its Senior Club program.
The funding will support Neighborhood Healthcare’s efforts to foster social connection, promote health and wellness education, and improve access to its services for senior citizens.
The Senior Club program includes conducting a Health & Wellness Day the first Thursday of each month and a Social Connection and Creativity workshop on the third Thursday of each month. Participants will receive educational talks, exercise and movement activities, cultural celebration programs, and access to community resources.
Hunter Industries is a family-owned manufacturer of best-in-class solutions for the landscape irrigation, outdoor lighting, dispensing technology, and custom manufacturing sectors. The San Marcos-based global company provides non-profit support through its Impact Grant program.
