Why Supporting Neighborhood Matters.
Helping Grow Healthy and Happy Neighborhoods
From the first health center Escondido Community Clinic established in 1969 to today, Neighborhood Healthcare provides healthcare services to nearly 100,000 patients annually via our 29 health centers located throughout the expansive areas of San Diego and Riverside counties; that is over 506,000 patient visits in 2023.
The Need in Lakeside
In 1994, Neighborhood Healthcare assumed operations of East County Community Health Services in response to the pressing need for accessible healthcare services in the Lakeside community. Today, it plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive medical services across various specialties to 50 daily visitors – adding up to over 10,000 individuals annually and 101,000 visits to date. Our team comprises board-certified physicians specializing in pediatrics/internal medicine and preventive medicine.
Understanding that various environmental factors significantly impact health outcomes, Neighborhood Healthcare has evolved its services to comprehensively address these social determinants of health. Today, our offerings range from prenatal to senior care, incorporating a holistic approach in primary care, behavioral health, dental care, women's health, lab services, prenatal, pediatrics, chiropractic, and diabetic eye exams.
Donations Raised.
Donations raised provide resources to support Neighborhood’s mission to provide quality, compassionate health care to everyone, regardless of situation or circumstance. Your commitment today will allow:
- Innovative approaches to community health by ensuring efficient operations and measurable outcomes.
- A range of programs that address many barriers our patients face on their road to health and happiness.
- Open doors to more patients in need, some of whom have nowhere else to go – many of which are children.
- Positive change to our communities, change you can see firsthand in the smiles of those we serve.
