Maternal Mental Health at Neighborhood

Mental health is just as important as physical health during pregnancy and after birth. Moms can access support at the start of pregnancy, throughout each trimester, and postpartum.

The program’s goal is to encourage and guide patients to:

  • Recognize signs of stress, sadness, or worry
  • Build coping skills and self-care routines
  • Find early support to improve health for both mom and baby

Prenatal Nutrition

Pregnancy is the one time in your life when your eating habits directly affect another person. No matter how many weeks are left of your pregnancy. It’s never too late to start. Schedule a visit with a registered dietitian to learn about:

  • Weight gain during pregnancy
  • Eating habits, nutrients, and fluid intake
  • Food safety
  • Frequent small meals
  • Vitamins and supplements
  • Hydration
  • Registered dietitian visits with 1st – 3rd trimester assessments as well as postpartum
