Neighborhood Healthcare provides comprehensive health care to meet the needs of individuals and families in our community. We promote regular and continuous care, where the patient—and if appropriate, the family—are at the center of care.
Neighborhood Healthcare provides dental services to children and adults through its three locations in Escondido, Pauma Valley, and Lakeside. The dental department provides preventive and restorative oral health services, and also emphasizes preventive education.
Behavioral Health Services
Neighborhood Healthcare has integrated its medical and behavioral healthcare services. A behavioral healthcare staff member is available in our health centers where we offer medical care and can meet a friendly face, ask questions, and seek additional care

Every Woman Counts
Every Woman Counts is saving lives by preventing and reducing the effects of breast cancer through education, early detection, diagnosis and treatment. Contact your Neighborhood Healthcare clinic for more information and to schedule an appointment.
Feeding America is the leading hunger-relief charity in the nation. Through both local and national food assistance programs, Feeding America is able to provide nutritious foods to families struggling with hunger. Proper nutrition, especially in the first three years of life, provides a strong foundation for physical, mental, and academic growth.
Project Dulce (Diabetes Management)
Project Dulce is a diabetes care and education program that uses culturally appropriate and community based education and support to assist participants to better diabetes management. Since 1997, Project Dulce has helped thousands of ethnically diverse patients throughout San Diego County.
Reach Out and Read
Reach Out and Read is a national literacy program that distributes new books to infants and children up to the age of five. Children receive age-appropriate books at their wellness exams.
Senior Peer Program
The Senior Peer Program was designed as a social support to connect Latino seniors who only speak Spanish. By doing so, this program reduces the isolation of older adults within the community by creating meaningful connections with their neighbors.
Teen Wellness Program
Neighborhood Healthcare’s Teen Wellness Program has been specifically designed to provide both health-related and vocational support and education for teens. The Teen Wellness Clinic is based on three key areas of mentoring:
