At Neighborhood, we provide integrated behavioral health services for dependency on alcohol, heroin or other opioids such as prescription pain killers. Integrated, Compassionate Outpatient Care Our behavioral health services include a range of treatments for individuals struggling substance use disorders. Our programs may include medication management, counseling, group education, and social service referral support. Medication Assisted Treatment Program At Neighborhood, we provide a combination of behavioral health therapy with medications to treat substance use disorders. Our outpatient treatment is for individuals who are dependent on alcohol, heroin or other opioids such as prescription pain killers (i.e., oxycodone, hydrocodone, methadone, codeine, morphine). Treatment medications work to control withdrawal or craving symptoms and are given by primary care providers, physicians assistants, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners. Research has shown that medication assisted treatments are safe and effective and have no adverse effect on individuals’ intelligence, mental capability, physical functioning, or employability.
