Jennifer Woodworth, PsyD, has lived in Temecula for six years and is actively involved in the local community through her children’s sports activities. As a mother of three teenagers, she stays engaged with the community while serving as a board member for the Riverside Mid County Behavioral Health Advisory Board. She has been learning to play pickleball in her free time and enjoys playing at the local courts. She also looks forward to traveling internationally next year and plans to visit South Africa and England.

Heather Hammond has been married to her best friend for 30 years and is the proud mother of three great kids. She loves to travel and experience different cultures. Each year, she co-leads a medical mission to Guatemala.

The most rewarding aspect of her career is helping women understand the miracle of pregnancy and recognizing their strength to grow and nurture life.

Gabriel Rodarte is dedicated to working with patients, teaching, and guiding the behavioral health department. He is passionate about providing compassionate care and supporting the development of his team in behavioral health.

Dr. Dorothy Liu-Barbaro enjoys traveling, playing music, and spending time with her children and family. She is passionate about helping people access care and treatment that they may not otherwise be able to receive, ensuring that all patients have the support they need.

Cornelia “Connie” Carlton Penn, PhD, lives in Carlsbad with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and a bird. She also has two adult sons and a granddaughter. Having spent half of her childhood in Germany, she is bilingual and loves to travel. Cornelia “Connie” Carlton Penn, PhD, is also a Tang Soo Do Karate black belt.

Her passion for healthcare shines through in her work. Recently, an elderly patient shared with her that, for the first time in her life, she felt a burden of guilt lifted—moments like these reflect Cornelia “Connie” Carlton Penn, PhD’s dedication to improving patients’ quality of life. She also enjoys working with students on-site at Escondido High School, where she finds today’s adolescents insightful, compassionate, giving, and motivated to impact their future and society positively.

Claire completó su residencia en psiquiatría general en la Universidad de Washington en Seattle, donde tuvo la oportunidad de trabajar en el equipo de ayuda a personas sin hogar y con una organización que proporcionaba atención terapéutica infantil a niños con riesgo de sufrir problemas emocionales y de comportamiento por haber estado expuestos a abusos. Terminó su formación en la Universidad de California en San Diego con una beca en Psiquiatría Infantil y Adolescente, donde trabajó en el área de Psiquiatría Comunitaria con una exposición significativa a poblaciones desatendidas y con organizaciones sin ánimo de lucro.
