Every Woman Counts at Neighborhood Healthcare provides clinical breast exams, mammograms, pelvic exams and pap tests to qualifying women. With proper education and screenings, early detection can significantly change the outcome of breast and cervical cancer. Support is offered to women who have abnormal findings, and treatment programs are available if cancer is detected.

Eligibility for breast cancer screening includes women who:

  • Live in California
  • Are age 40 or older
  • Are not getting these services through Medi-Cal or another government insurance program
  • Have no or limited insurance
  • Have a high insurance deductible of co-payment
  • Have income at or below 200% of the Federal poverty level

Eligibility for cervical cancer screening includes women who:

  • Live in California
  • Are age 21 or older
  • Are not getting these services through Medi-Cal or another government insurance program
  • Have no or limited insurance
  • Have a high insurance deductible of co-payment
  • Have income at or below 200% of the Federal poverty level
