BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONSULTANT: Neighborhood Healthcare has a full time (40 hours per week) positions for a mental health professional to work as a team member providing support to providers, and brief consultative services to eight to fourteen patients per day, in a primary care clinic setting at our Temecula clinic.  California licensure as a PsyD/PhD in psychology or LCSW required. Training and experience in brief evidence-based interventions, the Strosahl Model, and basic health psychology is desired. Minimum two years experience providing psychotherapy (brief evidence based models preferred) with children, adults and adolescents. Prefer experience providing health psychology services such as smoking cessation, weight, chronic pain or stress management, or work with chronically medically ill patients.  Apply via email only. EAST SAN DIEGO COUNTY

PROGRAM SPECIALIST / OUTREACH WORKER: Part Time position (16 hours per week) open at our primary care clinic in El Cajon. Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Outreach Program Specialist will be responsible for one-on-one outreach and community presentations in East County San Diego. The position is responsible for conducting educational presentations related to family planning, STD and HIV prevention and providing information about all programs and resources available through NH Care. The Program Specialist/Outreach Worker will also conduct outreach at local health fairs, community events, community meetings and within the health centers in the East County area.  Must understand and comply with goals and objectives in the grant contract and maintain data on outreach efforts.
