Neighborhood Healthcare provides comprehensive health care to meet the needs of individuals and families in our community. We promote regular and continuous care, where the patient—and if appropriate, the family—are at the center of care.
Healthcare Services, Programs and Resources
Neighborhood Healthcare provides dental services to children and adults through its three locations in Escondido, Pauma Valley, and Lakeside. The dental department provides preventive and restorative oral health services, and also emphasizes preventive education.
Neighborhood Healthcare has integrated its medical and behavioral healthcare services. A behavioral healthcare staff member is available in our health centers where we offer medical care and can meet a friendly face, ask questions, and seek additional care.
As a patient, you have access to your myCARE portal. You can access medical records, schedule an appointment, or view lab results. If you have already received your login information from Neighborhood Healthcare, you can login here.
Set up an appointment with a Certified Enrollment Counselor to discuss your healthcare options. Our counselors will help find the plan that is the best fit for you and will make sure you are properly enrolled.
Neighborhood Healthcare’s Teen Wellness Program has been specifically designed to provide both health-related and vocational support and education for teens. The Teen Wellness Clinic is based on three key areas of mentoring:
The Senior Peer Program was designed as a social support to connect Latino seniors who only speak Spanish. By doing so, this program reduces the isolation of older adults within the community by creating meaningful connections with their neighbors.
Reach Out and Read is a national literacy program that distributes new books to infants and children up to the age of five. Children receive age-appropriate books at their wellness exams.
Project Dulce is a diabetes care and education program that uses culturally appropriate and community based education and support to assist participants to better diabetes management. Since 1997, Project Dulce has helped thousands of ethnically diverse patients throughout San Diego County.
Feeding America is the leading hunger-relief charity in the nation. Through both local and national food assistance programs, Feeding America is able to provide nutritious foods to families struggling with hunger. Proper nutrition, especially in the first three years of life, provides a strong foundation for physical, mental, and academic growth.
