13th Annual Pace Setter Gala was a Big Success!

About 230 guests gathered at this year’s Pace Setter Gala. Their contributions allowed us to reach an important milestone: proceeds from the event will bring our Endowment Fund to one million dollars! And just as important, our Pace Setter friends gathered to honor our Pace Setter Awardee and raise important funds to help care for the 20,000 children we care for. Thank you!

Neighborhood Healthcare would like to extend a big thank you to all who participated in our 13th Annual Gala, “Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present, Strengthening the Future.” Thanks to all our generous supporters, we are pleased to report that the event raised $150,000. Approximately, $23,750 of that is earmarked to pay for unfunded care for the 20,000 children we see each year. We would also like to announce that funds raised this year helped us reach the one million dollar milestone for our Endowment Fund!

The event consisted of a delicious meal provided by Coast Catering, sumptuous Orfila wines, two very exciting auctions, and lively entertainment, all complimented by the beautiful backdrop at Orfila Vineyards. Highlights of the evening included an anonymous $5000 donation to begin our "Raise the Paddle for Unfunded Care" portion of the auction, and a heartfelt speech from our 2011 Honoree, Dr. Mary L. Dzvonik.

Thank you again to all of our contributors—your support is critical in helping us excel at our mission and continuing to provide compassionate and affordable medical, dental and behavioral healthcare for 65,000 people in San Diego and Southwest Riverside counties.
